Launch of the European Doctoral Day 2026

European Doctoral Day, a celebration of doctoral education and the impact of doctoral graduates across Europe. This initiative aims to inspire future researchers, raise awareness among employers, and showcase the diverse contributions of doctoral graduates to society.

How to participate as an organizing institution?

1. Get and sign the event charter from the official website.
2. Register your event on the platform before February 15th, 2026 to promote it across Europe.  You can find useful resources via this link.
3. Organize your event on or around May 13th - in-person, hybrid, or online - and share your feedback afterward.

To participate, don’t hesitate to reuse existing actions already in place at your university or institution. Adapting them (timeline, logo) to fit this initiative will give them greater visibility while contributing to the European effort.
